Allan W. Bronstad, 54 of Stanley, Wisconsin and formerly of Chetek, Wisconsin passed away from cancer on Friday, January 20, 2017 at his residence in rural Stanley, Wisconsin. Allan was born on September 29, 1962 in Rice Lake, Wisconsin the son of Herman and Shirley Bronstad.
Allan attended school in Chetek and played high school football. After his education he was a chef for many years at Shorty’s and Gail’s Steak House in Chetek. He was then employed as a loader/operator for Beaver Creek Wood Products in Chetek and as a mechanic for Wold trucking. He was a hard worker and enjoyed tinkering in his garage with anything that needed fixing. Working on Semi’s came from all the years helping his dad on his truck. He was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Over the years he enjoyed snowmobiling, was on bowling, pool and dart leagues also loved the Green Bay Packers, fishing and spending time with family and friends.
Allan leaves to celebrate his memory: children, Brittany (Charles) Pulczynski, Chetek, WI; Asia Bronstad, Chetek, WI; Marcus Bronstad, Cameron, WI; grandchildren: Alexander, Kaeleigh, Gage, Tristin and Remington, siblings, Shari (Jim Fitzgerald) Kurtzhals, Cameron, WI and Ronald (Yvonne) Bronstad of Chetek, also aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
Memorial services for Allan will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at the Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home in Chetek. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M.
Allan will be laid to rest at the Lakeview Cemetery in Chetek in the spring.
The Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Chetek has been entrusted with arrangements.
