Anna N. Susnik, 88, of Chetek, WI, passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at the Lakeview Medical Center in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. Anna was born on October 20, 1924 the daughter of Stanley and Mary Dobrowolski.
Anna loved to feed the outside animals, most recently the crows, gulls, birds and squirrels. When she lived out in the country, she was always feeding the raccoons, possum, deer and whatever came around. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and baking. She was a fantastic communicator and kept many long time friendships with family and friends. She always maintained a positive attitude no matter what was happening in her life.
Anna will be greatly missed by her cousin Frank who thought of Anna as his best friend. Anna’s family would especially like to thank him for the time he spent taking her to shop for groceries and for the occasional meal at the Legion.
Anna leaves to celebrate her memory: her daughter, Sharon Susnik, Muskego, WI; sons, Raymond (Rebecca) Susnik, Appleton, WI; Robb (Kim) Susnik, New Carlisle, OH; two grandsons, Robbie Susnik and James Susnik, nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. Anna was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Mary Dobrowolski, husband, Raymond on January 31, 1993, three sisters and six brothers.
The Funeral Service for Anna will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home in Chetek. Anna’s family will be greeting visitors at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 11:00 A.M. Deacon Mike Cullen will officiate.
Anna will be laid to rest alongside her husband Raymond at St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery in Chetek following the service. Casket bearers will be Bob Dobrowolski, Alan Dobrowolski, Sam Riemensnider and Brett Riemensnider.
Anna’s family wishes to invite their guests to join them for lunch and fellowship at St. Boniface Catholic Church following the cemetery service.
