Annabelle Marie (Summerfield) Bronstad passed away on August 7, 2023, at the Aspirus Langlade Hospital in Antigo, Wisconsin.
She was born May 5, 1935, to Eunice and Otto Summerfield on the farm north of Bloomer, Wisconsin.
She attended Pleasant Valley grade school and was the only one in her class grades 1-8. She graduated from New Auburn High School in 1952. Annabelle married Douglas Bronstad on September 12, 1953, at St.Paul's Lutheran Church in Bloomer, Wisconsin. They had 2 children, Vicky and Greg. Annabelle spent much of her married life in St. Paul, Minnesota where she and Doug owned and operated a dry cleaning store.
She was preceded in death by, her husband, Doug Bronstad, 2 sisters and their spouses, Edith (Bob) Hart and Irene (Jerome) Shipman, brother, Norman Summerfield, niece, Sharon Shipman Petschow, daughter-in-law, Cindee Bronstad, son-in-law, Ken Bazille, and nephew, Wayne Summerfield.
Annabelle is survived by, daughter, Vicky Bazille, son, Greg Bronstad, 4 grandchildren, Tammy (Dave) Engberg, Scott (Lisa) Bazille, Justin (Shelley) Bronstad, and Stacy (Ben) Schweighardt, and 10 great-grandchildren, Trinity and Mya Engberg, Nixon and Lincoln Bazille, Freyja, Anya, and Ox Bronstad, Nolan, Ryder, and Sawyer Schweighardt.
A Graveside Memorial will be held at Lakeview Cemetery in Chetek, Wisconsin on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at 11:00 AM.
The Burnham-Ours Kolstad Family Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
