Arlene Stoik, nee(Arlene Stanley) 80 years of age of Riverview Michigan and formerly of Chetek passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2011.
Arlene was born on September 19
th
, 1930 to Merrill and Hattie Stanley in Chetek. She married Robert A. Stoik, Jr. of Rice Lake on February 4, 1949. The couple moved to Michigan in 1951.
She is survived by, beloved husband, Robert A. Stoik Jr., she was the loving mother of Sandra (Robert) Bishop and Susan (Van) Weimer, dearest grandmother of Jason (Andrea) Weimer and Keith (Mary) Weimer and seven great grandchildren, sisters, Yvonne Lindblad, Chetek, Anna Mae (Jim) Axness, Portage and brother Carlyle Stanley of South Carolina, nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Merrill and Hattie Stanley, brother, Max and several aunts and uncles.
A memorial service for Arlene will be held on Friday, July 8, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Burnham Ours Funeral Home in Chetek, Wisconsin. The family will greet visitors for one hour prior to the service. She will be laid to rest at the Lakeview Cemetery in Chetek following the service.
