Barbara D. (nee Knauff) Thompson, age 77, of Cottage Grove, passed away at home on Jan. 9.
She was born In Chicago, Ill., on May 17, 1936.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Elliott and Doris; brothers Ronald, David, and Robert; and brother-in-law, John Taft.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, James; children, David (Mary), Mark (Janet), Pamela Loiacano, and Elizabeth (Chris) Melville; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers George Elliott (JoAnn) Knauff, and Richard Nichols; brothers-in-law William (Laverna) Thompson, and Kenneth (Shirley) Thompson; sister-in-law, Gertrude Taft; and many nieces & nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 24th at Burnham-Ours -Kolstad Funeral Home, 206 Schofield St., Chetek, WI.
