Billy Joe Gruenhagen

Billy Joe Gruenhagen, 52 of Chetek, passed away unexpectedly at his residence Sunday, November 23, 2014. He was born January 6, 1962 in Shell Lake, WI the son of Bertha M. (Butenhoff) and Frank Gruenhagen.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Loved to ride his bike, and had a passion for swords and dragons but mostly his dog "Sonora." He will be sadly missed by all that knew him.
Billy Joe leaves behind his life-long partner Rona Johnson of Chetek and her son Andy "Red" Johnson, Two brothers; Jimmy Gruenhagen and Steven Lambrecht, Two sisters; Huna Walters and Peggy Bailey. Also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and two step-brothers.
A celebration of life will be held at the Chetek VFW, Chetek, on Saturday December 6, 2014 from 2-6 P.M.
