Brenda K. Akim-Rettinghaus, age 53 passed away Friday December 9, 2016 at her residence in Rice Lake. She was born in Stillwater, Minnesota November 5, 1963 the daughter of Albert and Elizabeth (Leavens) Akim.
Brenda is survived by her 2 children, Terrance (Stacy Otis) Robinson, Amanda (Andy) Filter, 2 grandchildren, Kennedy & Brooklyn, 5 siblings, John (Wendy) Akim, Ben (Bonnie) Akim, Bob Akim, Michelle (Jason) Baskerville, Melanie Akim. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Ron Rettinghaus.
