Brian A. Kelley, 47 of Chetek passed away at his residence Sunday, July 24, 2016 after a courageous fight against pancreatic cancer. He was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin June 1, 1969 the son of Wilbur and Shirley (Konsela) Kelley.
Brian graduated from Holmen high school in 1987, then served in the United States Army for 3 years. He was past Commander of the SAL (Sons of the American Legion) in Onalaska. Brian married Kimberly Ann Norgren at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa on August 12, 2010. He was employed as an over the road truck driver for more than 20 years.
Brian is survived by his wife Kim, children; Alex, Sam, Zachary, mother and father; Shirley & Jerry Grenwalt, sisters; Diana, Jan, Cindy, brother; Gary, best friend; Kevin and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandparents and best 4 legged friend “Jake”.
A memorial service for Brian will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home, 907 Sand Lake Road, Onalaska, WI 54650 . Family and friends may gather from noon until the time of service. All are invited to a luncheon and continued fellowship at the American Legion Post #336, Onalaska following the service. Inurnment will take place 11:30 A.M. Monday, August 1, 2016 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
