Chad Aaron Otten

Chad Aaron Otten, 44 of Chetek passed away Monday, December 29, 2014 at his residence from sudden heart failure.  He was born in Rockford, Illinois April 17, 1970 the son of Sue (Wiltgen) and Michael Otten.

Chad married Samantha M. Richter in Trade Lake, WI on June 2, 2007.  He was the Owner and operator of Wild River Ranch in Chetek where he was a cattle farmer. Chad enjoyed cruising on his Harley’s in the summer and snowmobiles in the winter months.  He was a member of the American Galloway Association.  He especially enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and granddaughter, Ayva.

Chad is survived by his wife, Samantha; proud father of Kayla, Ryan, Morgan, Michael Otten, Allyson Greetan, Destiney Petersen; granddaughter, Ayva Anderson; Loving mother, Sue (James Bela) Otten of Chaseburg, WI, 2 Sisters and 1 Brother; Stacey Otten of Bangor, WI, Kortney (Doug Bonney) Otten of Scottsdale, AZ and Andrew Otten of Thorton, CO; Son-in-law of Linda & Jerry Richter of Frederic, WI; Brother-in-law of Jason (Jamie) Richter of Frederic and Heidi (Rick) Stevens of South Dakota.  He is preceded in death by his father and grandparents Lloyd & Elaine Otten and Eldridge & Leona Wiltgen.
