Charles Henry Gibson
July 30, 1937 — February 5, 2017
Charles H. Gibson, 79 passed away Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Just Like Home Assisted Living in Chetek. He was born in Nelson County, Virginia July 30, 1937 the son of Elwood and Daisy (Marshall) Gibson.
Charles entered the United States Air Force in 1955 and retired 1977. After serving 22 years in the military, he also retired after 26 years with the United Postal Service. Charles enjoyed time with his family, dogs and hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Charles is survived by his children; Mark (Belinda) Gibson of Chetek, Debra Gibson-Detamore, Travis (Joan) Gibson of Cumberland, 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Michael Gibson and sister Virginia Thacker.
