David Martin Dahlke

David Martin Dahlke of Dallas, WI passed to his rest after a 7 month battle with cancer on July 16, 2016 at his home.  He was born August 12, 1949 to Carl and Wilma Dahlke in Rice Lake, WI.

David attended Pleasant Hill Country grade school, then graduating from Barron High School.  He married Laurine R. Harris on June 15, 1987.  David attended Salem Lutheran Church as a child and was a part of Menomonie Seventh Day Adventist Church at the time of his death.  He attended WITC welding school, worked for Chippewa Valley truck driving, was a part of Barron County Bee Keepers, however, he was a dairy farmer for most of his life.  David fought valiantly against his cancer, was a friend to many and will be missed by all.

David is survived by his wife, Laurine, one adopted daughter Joy Callahan, 6 step-children;  Randy Swanson, Dawn Estrada, Todd Swanson, Faith Morneau, Robin Harris, Hope Harris, 10 step-grandchildren and 3 step-great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Wilma.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, August 7, 2016 at Menomonie Seventh Day Adventist Church.  Inurnment will take place at Otterholt Cemetery at a later date.  Please view and sign the online guestbook at www.burnhamours.com.
