Deanna Marie (Koskovich) Wojciechowski

Deanna M. Wojciechowski, 58 of Chetek passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at her residence.  She was born May 26, 1960 in Chippewa Falls, the daughter of Teresa (Ricord) and John Koskovich.

Deanna graduated from Chippewa Falls McDonald Catholic School in 1978.  She married James Wojciechowski July 2, 1999. Together, they owned and operated Wojo's Pub & Grill in Rice Lake, where they were known for their spectacular cooking and amazing fish fry.  She was an amazing cook who always made enough to feed half an army.  Deanna enjoyed the outdoors, going fishing, spending time at the lake, and gardening.  She always loved taking pictures, especially of her Saint Bernards.  Her favorite pastimes were canning, cooking, baking, and spending time with her kids and grandkids.  Deanna was a loving mother, grandmother, and wife, whose life will continue to shine through them.

Deanna is survived by her husband, James; children: Cory (Debbie) Kobernick, Justin (Ashley) Kobernick, Megan (Kurt Prorok) Kobernick, Ashley Kobernick, Teresa (Chase) Bachman; grandchildren: Austin, Ethan, Kylee, Tristan, Dawson, Lana, Kash, Maverick, Dakota, Noah, Peyton, Ciara, Ellie; mother: Teresa Jones; stepchildren: Amy Wojciechowski, Eric Wojciechowski; step grandchildren: Kyilee, Kaiden and Ellie; sister: Linda Brummond; brothers: Raymond, Brad; step mother: Carol Koskovich; father of her children: Forrest Kobernick. She is preceded in death by her father John Koskovich, brothers Dale and Ronald Koskovich, and step father Chuck Jones.

A memorial gathering will be held Friday, July 13, 2018 at the funeral home from 4-7:00 P.M.  Interment will be private at a later date.
