Debra A. Gunnufson, 51, of Cameron, Wisconsin passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at her home with her family and lifelong best friends at her side.  She was born on August 28, 1969 in Colfax, Wisconsin the daughter of Earl Gunnufson and Wanita Gunnufson.

Debra attended school in Chetek from Kindergarten until she graduated in 1987.  She worked for 20 years for the United States Post Office in Rice Lake, Wisconsin.  She enjoyed landscaping, working in her yard and anything outdoors around her home.  She also enjoyed hiking, tubing, camping and spending time with her family.

She leaves to celebrate her memory: her son, Drako (Emily) Gagnon, Fort Rucker, Alabama; mother, Wanita Kargol, Dallas, Wisconsin; brother, John Gunnufson, Clear Lake, Wisconsin, nieces, Jolene Johnson, Frederic, WI and Toni Paffel, Webb Lake, WI, many great nieces and nephews and other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Earl and brothers, Mark and Douglas Gunnufson.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Burham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home in Chetek on Friday, August 6, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. with a visitation from 1:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M.

The Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Chetek has been entrusted with arrangements.
