Donald Norman Hajek, Iii

Donald N. Hajek, III, age 46 of Chetek unexpectedly passed away Sunday, June 11, 2017 at his residence.  He was born December 14, 1970 in Plainfield, New Jersey, the son of Linda (Loftus) and Donald Hajek, Jr.

Donald grew up on a dairy farm in Bruce and married Rebecca L. Ramis at Maranatha Ev. Free Church in Rice Lake on June 19, 1993.  He worked as a truck driver at Jerome Foods over 25 years, loved to deer, turkey and bear hunt, fish and archery with his children.  He was the assistant coach for the girls high school softball team in Chetek and coach for Sioux Creek Go Getters 4H club.

Donald is survived by his wife; Rebecca, children; Kimberly Nickol, Lucas Michael; mother; Linda Dixon of Bruce, father; Donald, Jr (Aunt Pat), siblings; Michele Hajek and Charles Hajek all of Summerville, S.C., mother and father-in-law; Michael (Janet) Ramis of Chetek, sister and brother-in-laws; Elizabeth (Steve) Riesterer of Minneapolis,  Michael (Tasha) Ramis of Chippewa Falls, Amanda (Matt) Kalisz of Sparta, Jennifer Ramis of Kenosha, many nieces, nephews and friends.  He is preceded in death by his grandparents, uncle Paul Rosato and brother-in-law Joe Ramis.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Chetek Lutheran Church with Pastor Ralph Marquardt officiating.  Family and friends may gather one hour prior to the service.  Please join the family for continued fellowship and a luncheon in the church basement following the service.  Please view and sign the online guestbook at www.
