Dorla Dean (Wasko) Arneson
August 20, 1930 — January 29, 2015
Dorla D. Arneson, 84 of Chetek passed away January 29, 2015 at Lakeview Medical Center with her loving husband at her side. She was born in Chicago, IL August 20, 1930 the daughter of Stephen J. and Nila V. (Holbrook) Wasko.
Dorla “Tiny” married Robert E. Arneson July 15, 1950 in Pine City, Minnesota. “Tiny” was a wonderful homemaker whereby she raised their 5 children. After Bob retired September 1987, they moved to Chetek permanently and wintered in Harlingen, TX. Dorla enjoyed woodcarving, oil painting, crocheting, knitting and loved to fish. She was a lady with many talents and spending time with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren were paramount to her.
Dorla is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Bob Arneson of Chetek; children, Vicki (Russ) Clemensen of Isanti, MN, Robert (Karen) Arneson of Canyon, MN, Carol Arneson of Barron, WI, Stephen Arneson of Chetek, LeaAnn Arneson of Barron, WI, 11 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; one brother John Wasko, four sisters Roberta (Ken) Anderson, Stephanie (Ron) Aminson, Alice (Jim) Waskey, and Kim (Larry) Tourfar. She is preceded in death by her parents and one grandson Russell Clemensen.
