Dorothea Lou (Turner) Gardner

Dorothea Lou Gardner, 78 of Chetek, passed away on August 24, 2013 at the Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Dorothea was born on November 21, 1934 in Aitkin, Minnesota the daughter of Alvin and Wilma Turner. She was married to Norval Gardner on October 4, 1952 at the Lutheran Church in Newport, Minnesota.
Dorothea leaves to celebrate her memory: daughter, Barbara (Craig) Widiker, Chetek; sons, Charles Gardner, James (Sandi) Gardner and Kenneth (Melissa) Gardner all of Chetek, grandchildren: Jennifer, John, Steven, Jamie, Jestina and Eddie, step grandchildren: Ethan, Angela and Russell, great grandchildren: Marrisa, Miranda, Michael, Jordyn, Jaelyn, Kyndall, Mariah, Angel and Anthony, step great grandchildren: Levi, Matthew,Noah, and Mike, sisters, Glenna and Myrtle, brothers, Myrle, Marlyn and Larry, nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home in Chetek. The family will greet visitors from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery at a later date.
