Dorothy Kaye (O'Neil) Hyde

Dorothy Kaye Hyde, 75, of Chetek, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at the Marshfield Medical Center in Eau Claire.  Dorothy was born on July 10, 1945 to Virgil and Dorothy Lorraine (Anderson) O’Neil.

Dorothy met the love of her life Irvin as a teenager.  She married Irvin in 1961 and together they raised four children.  She enjoyed staying at home and living the simple life while raising her family. She loved knitting and crocheting in her spare time.  She made a lot of crocheted towels that she sold for extra money. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She cherished her husband Irvin the one true love of her life.  She is now in paradise with Irvin.  She will be dearly missed.

Dorothy leaves to celebrate her memory: her children, Traci (Robert) Gonzales, Chetek, WI; Wendi (Larry) Talford, Eau Claire, WI; Ricki Hyde (Colleen Dickenson), Eleva, WI and Jodi (Jackie) Hyde, Chetek, WI; grandchildren: Mandy (Darryl) Dahl, Ryan (Ally) Gonzales, Jamee (Jeremy) Becker, Alicia (Cody) Rihn, Josh (Brandi) Stanford, Eric Stanford (Erica Belcher) Brandi (Brian) Hanson, Justin Hyde, Brittany Hyde, Sam (Jason) Sieja and Matthew (Lindsey) Hyde, numerous great grandchildren, her brother, Ted Parr and many other family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Dorothy and her husband, Irvin E. Hyde.

The Hyde family will greet visitors at the Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home in Chetek on Thursday, August 27, 2020 from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M.  Dorothy will be laid to rest alongside her husband at the Lakeview Cemetery in Chetek following the visitation.  Please practice the recommended Social Distancing guidelines.  Please use facial coverings.
