He served in the Pacific Theater as an Artillery Fuze Setter with the rank of PVII, receiving the American Theater Service Ribbon, Asiatic Pacific Theater Service Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal and Victory Ribbon. Eddie worked as a boiler operator at LaSalle Hotel in Chicago, and retired from International Harvester in Chicago.
He enjoyed spending many afternoons at Somerset Pub. Eddie also loved playing video poker, watching the Chicago Bears, and spending time with his cat and best friend, “KitCat”.
A Private Interment will take place at the Northern Wisconsin Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, WI.
