Edward John Beckman, 75, of Chetek, passed away at his home on Sunday, September 07, 2014 with his loving family at his side. Edward was born on June 11, 1939 in Chicago, IL the son of John H. and Anna (Mueller) Beckman.
Ed enjoyed fishing, woodworking, art, music, campfire cooking and loved his family time and his grandchildren were very special to him. He was very dedicated to the 12 step program. He will be dearly missed.
Ed leaves to celebrate his memory: wife, Barbara Beckman, Chetek; children: Dodie (Terry) Ash, Freeport, IL; Doreen Beckman, Fort Wayne IN; Diana L. Beckman, Hebron, IL; Edward Jr (Tammy) Beckman, Chetek; Steven J. Beckman, Kenosha, WI; Ann-Marie Yeager, Cameron, WI and Victoria Sjoholm, Madeira Beach, FL; 16 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, brother, John (Linda) Beckman, Arlington Heights, IL; niece, Susan Beckman, nephew, John Beckman, and many other loving family and friends. Ed was preceded in death by his parents, John and Anna Beckman, grandson, Jeremy Beckman and great grandson, Ashton Beckman.
Ed’s family will greet visitors at the Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home in Chetek on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M.
Honorary pallbearers will be Travis Knight, Jerry "J.D." Schnell, Jason Schnell, John Yeager, Brandon Beckman, Adam Beckman and Brett Sjoholm.
The Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Chetek has been entrusted with arrangements.
