Erma Elizabeth Railton, 96 of Bloomer and formerly of Chetek passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at Maplewood Manor Care Center in Bloomer,
Wisconsin
. Erma was born on November 3, 1914 in New Auburn,
Wisconsin
the daughter of Almond and Lela (Horton) Flynn.
Erma worked in the Chetek area as a young lady for many years and then moved to
Illinois
in the 60’s then returning to Chetek where she and her husband Donald enjoyed their retirement years. She enjoyed playing cards, sewing, embroidering, crocheting and family rides. She was a lifelong member of the Chetek American Legion Auxiliary, the Rebecca Lodge and a member of the
Chetek
Lutheran
Church
.
Erma leaves to celebrate her memory, son, Bill (Diana) Railton, Bloomer, grandchildren, Craig (Dyna), Robbie, great grandchildren, Samantha, Tyler, Jared, Travis, Madison, sister-in-laws, Norma Burnham and Shirley Larson, many nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald, daughter Beverly, brothers, Glenn and Orrvie Flynn.
Funeral service will be held at the
Chetek
Lutheran
Church
on
Wednesday, April 13

at
11:00 A.M.
.. Pastor Guy Redfield will officiate the service. The family will greet visitors at the church beginning at
9:30 a.m.
until the time of service. The family wishes to invite their guests to join them for fellowship and lunch following the service in the church fellowship hall.
Erma will be laid to rest next to her husband Donald at the
Lakeview
Cemetery
in Chetek in the spring.
The Burnham-Ours Funeral and Lakes Area Cremation Service has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
