Gene N. Anderson

Gene N. Anderson, Sr. age 69 of Chetek passed away Wednesday February 3, 2016 at Minneapolis Veterans Administration Health Care System.  He was born November 23, 1946 in New Milford, Connecticut the son of Alice (Bromley) and Theodore Anderson, III.

After high school Gene served his country in the Air Force.  He was very active in many local organizations, had a big heart, great sense of humor, loved to socialize and visit the casinos.  He will be greatly missed by all.

Gene is survived by his children; Gene (Balvino) Anderson, Jr. of Milwaukee, Jeannine Black of Watertown, Gena (Steve) Fischer of Fall Creek, Rebecca (Paul) Melton of Logansport, Indiana, sister-in-law; Trina (Steve) Schneider, grandchildren; Azjohn, Akeyla, Austyn, Andrew, Devin, Michael, Brent, Brady, siblings; Teddy, Merry (Terry), Missy (Steve), Nathan (Mindy), Shawn, Dawn (Ty) and granddog; Chica.  Also survived by nieces and nephews; Richard, Trina, Tracie, Teddy, Alan, Shawn, Kitt, Brae, Shawn Bear, Makenna, Wyatt, Audrey and many many friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents, wife; Melody Ann (Boettjer) Anderson and mother & father-in-law; Henry & Phyllis Boettjer.

A Celebration of Life for Gene will be held 4-6 P.M. Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home. Inurnment will take place at Lake View Cemetery Sunday, May 22 at 12:00 noon along with military honors performed.
