Geraldine E. Krueger (Ebert),89 of Chetek and a longtime resident of Janesville, WI., passed away Friday, April 13th at Monroe Manor in Barron, WI with her loving family at her side.
She was born on July 12th, 1928 to Adolph and Minnie (Steifner) Ebert. She had four step brothers; Herbie, Arnie and Art Wegwerth and Harold Ebert; and two step sisters; Evelyn and Dorothy Wegwerth. On April 6, 1947 she was joined in marriage to Verlyn E. Krueger in a ceremony at Zions Lutheran church in Kingston, WI. The couple moved to Janesville in 1951 where her husband became employed by JATCO as a truck driver. She became employed at Amphonal in assembly and later by Ohio Med and Ohmeda of Madison, WI as a medical assembler.
She leaves behind four children: Verle (Pam) Krueger of Janesville, WI, Cathy (David) Machelor of Alstead, NH, Linnette (Randy) Martin of Chetek WI and Denise (Dan) Endres of Clayton, WI., four grandchildren: Brandie (Gary) Martin, Justie Krueger, Cindy (Troy) Johnson, Paul (Rebecca) Hans and step grandchildren Ashley and Kenny Schuur and four great grandchildren: Brock Johnson, Seth and Shawn Krueger and Bailey Schuur. She was preceded in death by her husband, all four step brothers and both step sisters.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, April 19 at 2:00 P.M. Christ Lutheran Church with Pastor Tylan Dalrymple officiating. Also, a Memorial Service at 1:00 P.M. Friday, April 20, 2018 at Milton Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, 2200 Milton Ave., Janesville, Wisconsin. In lieu of flowers, memorials will be accepted.
The Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Chetek has been entrusted with arrangements.
