Hans Lawrence Jacobs

Hans Jacobs, 45 passed away October 2, 2014 at Luther Hospital, Eau Claire. He was born on September 7, 1969 in Eau Claire.
Hans graduated from River Falls High School in 1988. He was active in many school sports and especially enjoyed playing varsity hockey. He spent his summer in Chetek doing competition water skiing and skiing with the Chetek Hydroflites. Ski jumping was his favorite, his biggest accomplishment was competing in the Nationals in West Palm Beach, Florida.
After graduation he pursued a Military career as a Navy diver. He served 22 years and traveled the world spending extended time in south East Asia.
Hans is survived by his parents; Roland and Simone Jacobs of Tavares, Florida, his former wife Tracey, his children; Emma and Brett, one brother Burt (Staci) Jacobs and their children Austin and Collin of Spokane, Washington.
A memorial service will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday, October 6, 2014 at 5:00 P.M. Family and friends may gather from 4:00 P.M. until the time of the service. Interment will take place at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Spooner, WI. Please meet at the cemetery.
