Hilda Elizabeth (Wille) Dahlman

Hilda E. Dahlman, 91, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Knapp Haven Nursing Home in Chetek. She and her twin were born on January 01, 1923 to Dietrich and Elizabeth Wille in Tinley Park, Illinois.
Hilda married Joseph Dahlman in Homewood, Illinois in 1941. They celebrated their 70 th wedding anniversary just before Joseph passed away in 2011. In the late 1960s Hilda and Joseph moved to Chetek. She was quite an accomplished quilter, bridge player, involved with several committees in church and hosting family gatherings at her home.
Hilda is survived by her children; Carol (John) Polek of Sandy Springs, GA, Robert (Diane) Dahlman of Chetek, Barbara (Tom) Wierzbicki of Eau Claire, 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 sister Ruth Tomlinson of Frankfort, Illinois. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 grandsons, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home in Chetek with Pastor Tylan Dalrymple officiating. Interment will take place at Lake View Cemetery following the service. Hilda’s family has asked to consider doing a random act of kindness in memory of Hilda.
