Jack William Pieper

December 14, 1923 — June 3, 2013

Jack William Pieper, 89, passed away on June 3, 2013 at the Knapp Haven Nursing Home in Chetek, Wisconsin.  Jack was born on December 14, 1923 in Cameron, WI the son of Wilhelm and Eda (Mattel) Pieper.

Jack resided in Minnetonka, MN for many years.  He was married to Yvonne Huebner in April of 1971 and they resided in Mounds View, MN for many years.  They later moved to Isle, MN where they enjoyed fishing, camping and outdoor activities.  In 1995 Jack and Yvonne officially retired and traveled the United States for several years in their R.V. enjoying life.  Later they built a home in Sauk Centre, MN where the fishing was abundant and where they resided there for many years.

Jack leaves to celebrate his memory: sons, Jack (Elly) Pieper, Mound, MN; Todd Pieper, Princeton, MN; daughters, Kathy (John) Manion, Coon Rapids, MN; Patti Lindblad, Rice Lake, WI; stepson, Allen Carlson, Brooklyn Park, MN; step daughters, Jacalyn Carlson, Pine City, MN; Hydie (James) Hecht, Pine City, MN; 9 grandchildren and11 ½ great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilhelm and Eda, wife, Yvonne, sister, Elaine Johnson and brothers Donald and Michael Pieper.

Private family services will be held.

The Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Chetek has assisted the family with arrangements.
