In 1946 she married Dale Davis of Chetek, Wisconsin and raised one son, Lynn. She and her family engaged in farming in rural Chetek until their retirement in 1989. In addition to the care of her family and numerous farm tasks she was employed at Jerome Foods, Barron, Wisconsin and ABC Industries, Chetek, Wisconsin.
Following retirement, she and her husband moved to the City of Chetek where they enjoyed sharing picturesque views of Prairie Lake from their front room with visiting family and friends. Jeanette took pleasure in cooking and baking. She also enjoyed gardening and sewing. Her kind heart and generosity will be missed dearly by her family, friends and neighbors.
Jeanette is survived by her husband, Dale, her son, Lynn and daughter-in-law Catherine, Neenah, Wisconsin; five granddaughters, Constance, Washington, D. C.; Erin, Hamilton, New Zealand; Christine, Janelle and Blair, Ames, Iowa. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
