Joseph J. Skubnik, Jr. 88 of Chetek passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Knapp Haven Nursing Home. He was born March 28, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois the son of Christina and Joseph Skubnik, Sr.
Joseph is survived by his wife of 59 years, Lydia J. (Oldham) Skubnik, four children; Janet (Nathan) Short of Milothian, Illinois, Allen Skubnik of Joliet, Illinois, Lisa (Tom) Page of Charleston, Illinois, Rhonda (David) Swangim of Chetek, Wisconsin 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John.
Funeral Services for Joseph will be at 3:00 P.M. Faith Baptist Church in Chetek, with Pastor Chad McCarthy officiating. Family and friends may gather one hour prior to the service.
