Juanita Geraldine Reese, 85, of New Auburn, Wisconsin passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at the Knapp Haven Nursing Home in Chetek with her loving family at her side. Juanita was born on March 14, 1928 in New Auburn, Wisconsin the daughter of Albert and Myrtle Lund.
Juanita was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in New Auburn and the New Auburn Book Club. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, traveling and singing.
Juanita leaves to celebrate her memory: husband, David Jerome Reese, daughters, Renee Gayle Jewett, Robin (Raul) Wynnette Jewett-Hernandez, grandchildren: Christine Lynn Gallardo, Tina Marie Melvin, Trisha May Henley, Edward Hernandez, Vincent Hernandez, Raul Hernandez Jr., great grandchildren: Norma May Gallardo,Jennah Hernandez, Elijah Hernandez, Breanna Hernandez, Alexzandra Hernandez, Evan Hernandez, Ava Hernandez, siblings: Betty Jean Beal, Alberta Agnes Robey, Shirley Marion Marquardt and many other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Myrtle Lund, her daughter, Denise Renee Jewett, siblings: Arlene Winifred Lynn, Ethel Irene Sundley and Donna Mae Haye.
The funeral service for Juanita will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Bethel Lutheran Church in New Auburn. Pastor Melinda Halom will officiate the service. The family will greet visitors at the church from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M.
Juanita will be laid to rest at the Lakeview Cemetery in Chetek following the funeral service. The family would like to invite their guests to join them for lunch and fellowship back at the church following the cemetery service.
