Julie Ann (Erickson) Waterman, age 76, passed away on September 8, 2024, at Vista Prairie Assisted Living in Rice Lake, Wisconsin.
Julie was born to Harold and Arlyn Erickson on October 31, 1947, in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Julie was raised on a farm near Oneida, Wisconsin. She graduated from Seymour Community High School and attended Stout University in Menomonie, Wisconsin, graduating with both a BS and MS in Broad Field Home Economics. Julie served as an Extension Home Economist in Menomonie for 3.5 years. In 1972, she married Dennis Waterman. She worked as a legal secretary and then took time off to raise 3 girls. Following that, Julie was an instructor at both the Chetek High School and Chetek Middle School for 17 years. She loved playing the piano and organ. She served as the main organist at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Cameron for over 30 years. Other hobbies of hers included sewing, writing skits, painting, creating garden art, working as an Extension Homemaker Club member, and organizing local library fundraisers. Julie's passion was flower gardening.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Janelle, parents, Harold and Arlyn, brother, Gregory, and sister, Amy.
Julie is survived by her husband, Dennis Waterman, children, Carrie (Travis) Haines and Monica (Michael) Geisler, and six grandchildren, Emma, Ali, Lucas, Alex, Peyton and Paige as well as many other loving family and friends.
There will be a private family Memorial Service held at the St. Peter's Catholic Church in Cameron, Wisconsin.
