June Kathryn (Lange) Samens

June Kathryn Samens, 83, of Chetek, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at the Meadowbrook of Chetek.  June Lange was born on July 10, 1937 in Chippewa County, Wisconsin to Bill and Mary Lange.

June enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, cardinals, sunflowers traveling to North and South Dakota and spending time with her family and her grandchildren.  She will be dearly missed.

She leaves to celebrate her memory: children, Terry and Mary Lou Samens, Chetek; Mark and Janet Samens, New Auburn, Mary Jo Samens and Jeff Keller and Tammy Kringle, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Lange, her mother and step father, Kathryn and Ed Garbe, her beloved husband-father-grandfather Bob Samens in 2005, her siblings, David Lange, James Garbe and LaVonne Hanson and her son-in-law, Vincent Kringle.

A private family funeral service will be held at the Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home in Chetek.  June will be laid to rest at St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery in Chetek.
