Kathleen Ann (Denk) Dettmann

Kathleen Ann Dettmann, age 72, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2023, at the Pioneer Health & Rehab Nursing Home in Prairie Farm, Wisconsin.

Kathleen was born on February 5, 1950, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Carol and Frank Denk.

Kathleen married the love of her life, Rickie Dettmann, on October 17, 1970, in Muskego, Wisconsin. She enjoyed vegetable gardening and spending time outside. She also loved to do needlework and plastic canvas projects, spending hours to make sure each stitch was perfect. Kathleen enjoyed watching all of the birds and different wildlife that Wisconsin offered.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Carol and Frank Denk, and sisters, Sandy Hardy and Rosie (Mark) Scott.

Kathleen leaves to celebrate her memory, her loving husband, Rickie Dettmann, brother, Frankie Jr. (Diane) Denk, and sisters, Cindy (Phil) Buckholtz and Patti (Craig) Chepeck, brother-in-law, Carroll Hardy, as well as many nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at 5:00 PM at the Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Funeral Home in Chetek, Wisconsin. A visitation will be held prior from 4:00-5:00 PM at the funeral home. Dinner and Time of Remembrance will be held at the Fire Away Roadhouse and Rest Stop in Cameron, Wisconsin following the Memorial Service.
