Lea Ann Arneson

Lea Ann Arneson, age 55 formerly of Chetek, unexpectedly passed away at her home in Cambridge, Minnesota with her fiance Jef Profant by her side..  She was born September 20, 1961 in Minneapolis the youngest daughter of Robert and Dorla Arneson.  She married Joe Welch on June 22, 1984 and they divorced in 2001.

Lea Ann devoted the majority of her life working as a Certified Nursing Assistant at many different facilities.  She loved helping people and spending time with her family.  Lea Ann adored being a "Nana" for the last ten years.  She enjoyed the outdoors very much whether it was walking in the wilderness or the occasional bonfire with friends and loved ones.

Lea Ann is survived by her father Robert Arneson of Chetek, only child Kristina Welch of Chetek, 2 granddaughters, Kaylee and Peyton Purintun, 2 sisters, Vicki Clemensen of Isanti, MN and Carol Arneson of Almena, WI, 2 brothers, Robert Arneson of Canyon, MN and Steve Arneson of Chetek, ex-husband Joe Welch, many nieces, nephews, cousins and her beloved dog Tinkerbell.  She is preceded in death by her mother Dorla Dean Arneson and nephew Russ "Jr" Clemensen.

Private inurnment is being planned for a later date at Lake View Cemetery in Chetek.

The Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
