Linda Ann Gindt

Linda Ann Gindt, 57, of Chetek, Wisconsin passed away on Friday, July 12, 2013 at the Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire.  Linda was born on May 20, 1956 in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin the daughter of Gerald and Arlene (Robarge) Gindt.

Linda attended school in Chetek and graduated from the Chetek High School in 1974.  She enjoyed living in the Chetek lake area and lived her entire life there.  She worked for the city of Chetek, the Chetek post office and cleaned many homes for families in the Chetek area.  She was a collector of doll clothing and could be found selling doll clothing at many arts and craft events.  She also enjoyed mending clothing for people and enjoyed and loved her cats.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Arlene.  She leaves to celebrate her memory, brother, Dan Gindt, Chetek; sister, Patti (Kurt) Usowski, Falls Church, VA; one niece and two nephews and other loving family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at 7:00 P.M. at the Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home in Chetek.  The family will be greeting visitors at the funeral home from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M.  She will be laid to rest at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Chippewa County alongside her parents.
