Linda Mae Swant

Linda Mae Swant, age 81, of Cameron, Wisconsin, sadly left us on March 19, 2023, peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones.

Linda was born to Clinton and Elsie (Simpson) Swant on August 27, 1941, in Rice Lake, Wisconsin.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clinton and Elsie Swant, sons, Vince and Warren Wood, and ex-husband and great friend, Mike Orton.

Linda is survived by, her son, Charles Wood, grandchildren, Amanda Wood, Trista (Troy) Kittleson, Mike (Jill) Wood, Randall Wood, Kristina (Mitch) Borneman, and Laura Tomlinson, 9 great-grandchildren, step-daughters, Linda Garske and Kimberly Orton-Pierce, and special friends, Don Solie and Russell Hoel, as well as many other loving family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023, at 3:00 PM at the Chetek Lutheran Church. Visitation will be held prior starting at 2:00 PM. The family invites those attending to a late luncheon/early dinner in the church's fellowship hall following the service.

The Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
