Lois Ann Ohde, 88 of Chetek, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Atrium Post Care in Bloomer, Wisconsin. Lois Kurth was born on September 2, 1929 in Wausau, Wisconsin the daughter of George and Martha (Lamz) Kurth.
Lois loved to travel, bus trips, playing bingo, playing keno at the casino, reading, and plays at Fanny Hill. She was a sports fan; she loved baseball and football, especially, the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers and the Wisconsin Badgers. She loved spending time with friends and family and going to family reunions.
She leaves to celebrate her memory: children: Jeffrey (Rae) Ohde, Linda (Buckley) Birkholz, Mike Ohde, Steven (Sue) Ohde, Cathy (Brian) Calkins, grandchildren: Christina and Corey Sessions, Jay (Niki) Birkholz, Ashlee Birkholz, Alex, Rachel, and Eric Ohde, Mitchel and Tylor Calkins, great grandchildren: Dameyn, Michael, Crystal, Brian and Emilie, siblings: Ray (Shirley) Kurth and sister-in-law, Anne Kurth and other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Martha, husband, Bill, sisters, Erna Kalsow and Dorothy Piper, brothers, Harry and Eddie Kurth and her son, Dean.
The funeral service for Lois will be held on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Chetek Lutheran Church. Visitation will be held at church beginning at 1:00 P.M.
Lois will be laid to rest at the Lakeview Cemetery following the funeral service. Please join the family at church after the cemetery service for lunch and continued fellowship. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
Memorials are preferred to the Salvation Army and to Wounded Warriors.
The Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Chetek has been entrusted with arrangements.
