Louise Ramona (Bollier) Metcalf

Louise Ramona Metcalf, 81, of Chetek, passed from her life on earth to join her loved ones in Heaven on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at the Knapp Haven Nursing Home in Chetek. Louise was born on October 25, 1929 in San Antonio, Texas the daughter of William and Thelma (Sanford) Bollier.

Louise is fondly remembered for her love of all animals, especially cats and birds. She enjoyed an occasional trip to the Turtle Lake Casino to try and win “big bucks” as well a game of golf on a beautiful summer day.

The funeral service for Louise will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Chetek Lutheran Church. Pastor Guy Redfield will officiate the service. The family will greet visitors one hour prior to the service at the church.

Louise will be laid to rest next to her husband Charles at the Lakeview Cemetery following the service. The family wishes to invite their guests to return to the church after the cemetery service for fellowship and lunch.

Louise leaves to celebrate her memory, daughters, Sharon (Dave) Anderson, Eden Prairie, MN, Marilyn (David) Perkins, Shakopee, MN, Pam (Michael) Woodard, St. Louis Park, MN, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her 1st husband, Meryle Bialkey, 2 ^nd husband, Charles Gordon Metcalf, four brothers, John, George, Jim and Billy.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at Knapp Have Nursing Home on their compassionate and excellent care.

Memorials may be made to the Chetek Lutheran Church or the Knapp Haven Nursing Home Activity Department.
