Lucile Carter, 100, formerly of Chetek, passed away on September 10, 2012 in Mequon, WI. She was born on October 30, 1911 in Chetek, WI the youngest daughter of Byron and Marie Carter. She was a graduate of the University of Minnesota where she earned a M.A. degree. Lucile was a teacher and retired in 1977 after thirty years at Clinton High School in Clinton, IA. Lucile leaves to celebrate her memory, 7 great-nieces and great-nephews. A private family service will be held at the Lake View Cemetery in Chetek.
