Lucille Stella (Plummer) Holmes

Lucille Stella Holmes, 93, of Chetek, WI passed away Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2017 at Atrium Post-Acute Health Care of Chetek.
Lucy was born on Dec 15, 1923 to Benjamin Wesley Plummer and Sally Ann (Bell) Plummer in Rusk County. Lucy met Richard Pertell and they married in Jan 1941 in Chicago, IL. They later divorced and she married Francis E. Holmes in 1951. Lucy enjoyed fishing for blue gill, playing Dirty Clubs, shooting pool, writing short stories and most of all, she enjoyed life.
Lucy will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Constance Lucille (Pertell) Cummings and Fay Ann (Holmes) Solie, one step-son, Raymond E. Holmes and many nieces and nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, brothers, Jack, Deb and Tiff, and two sisters, Ilah and Helen.
There will be a Celebration of Life held at a later date in the Spring.
The Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
