Mark R. Glaser

Mark R. Glaser, 39, of Chetek, Wisconsin passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 21, 2021 in Sand Creek, Wisconsin with his family and friends at his side.  Mark was born on December 11, 1981 in Barron, Wisconsin the son of Carol and Russell Glaser.

Mark graduated from Chetek High School in 2000.  Immediately after graduation he started working at ABC Truss in Chetek and continued his employment with ABC until his sudden passing.  He married Kristen Germann on June 4, 2011 in Chetek, Wisconsin.  Mark loved outdoor activities like hunting, fishing and camping.  He enjoyed those adventures with his children.  He also enjoyed going to deer camp and fishing with his friends in Canada.

He leaves to celebrate his memory: his wife, Kristen Glaser, Chetek, WI; their children, Mckenzie and Luke Glaser, Chetek, WI; father, Russell Glaser, Barron, WI; sister, Kari (Troy) Engelstad, Chetek, WI; brother, Jeffrey (Laurie) Effertz, Hayward, WI; nieces, Bailey Engelstad, Winona, MN; Hope Meziere, Rice Lake, WI; nephew, Blake Engelstad, Chetek, WI; mother-in-law, Suzyn Cragin and her husband Timothy, Iron River, WI; father-in-law, Thomas Germann and his wife Cheryl, Wascott, WI; brother-in-law, Thomas Germann Jr., Minneapolis, MN; and many other family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Glaser, sister, Pamela Geisinger and brother, Paul Effertz.

The funeral service for Mark will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at Chetek Lutheran Church.  Visitation will be held at the church from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at 1:00 P.M.  Casket-bearers will be Brandon Gustum, Jospeh Olson, Brian Huset, Lucas Ludwigson, Andrew Langman, Jeremy Tietz and Chris Cruse.
