Mark "Coach" Gunnufson

Mark S. Gunnufson “Coach”, 47, of Chetek, passed away April 22, 2013 in Clear Lake, Wisconsin. Born in Coflax, WI December 1, 1965, son of Wanita H. (Steies) Kargol and the late Earl M. Gunnufson.
Mark graduated from Chetek High School in 1984 and joined the National Guard for the next 6 years. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Superior where he attained a bachelor’s degree. Mark enjoyed outdoor cooking, picnics, all sports, especially the Packers and Brewers. He loved to visit with his Nieces and Nephews. Mark is survived by his Mother, Wanita H. Kargol, of Clear Lake, WI; two brothers, Douglas Gunnufson of Almena, WI and John Gunnufson of Clear Lake, WI; one sister Deb Gunnufson of Chetek, WI. Fond Uncle of Jolene Johnson, Tony Paffel, Drako Gagnon and other nieces, nephew, relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home, Saturday April 27, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. Marks family will greet visitors one hour prior to the service.
