Mary Olivia (Rowe) Green

Mary O. Green, 87 of Chetek passed away Friday, April 20, 2018 at Atrium Post Acute Care in Chetek.  She was born February 22, 1931, in Irma, Wisconsin the daughter of Myrtle (Nelson) and Albert Rowe.

Mary graduated from Merrill High School in 1950.  She worked as a bank teller in Colorado Springs, Owatona, Minnesota, also worked in Hotel management in Minneapolis and Dallas, Texas.  She married Gene Green in Minneapolis, Minnesota January 15, 1976.  Mary enjoyed playing the piano, has a passion for any animals and birds, which she loved to feed on a constant basis.

Mary is survived by her husband, Gene, stepchildren, Cathy (Kurt) Schnapp, Jeoffrey (Bonnie) Green, Jennifer (Lee) Flesher, Deborah Columbus, 2 sisters; Bonnie Buntrock, Barbara Bey, brother; Eugene Rowe, several nieces, nephews and friends.  She is preceded in death by her parents, four siblings, Carol Zank, Margaret Rice, Lloyd Rowe and infant sister Betty Mae Rowe.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 1:00 P.M., Trinity Lutheran Church, 107 N State St, Merrill, WI 54452.
