Nancy Jane (Reuille) Tyson, 66, passed peacefully into God’s loving arms at her residence with her husband and daughters by her side on January 19th, 2013.
Nancy was born on July 12, 1946 in Zulu, Indiana to Narcis and Marcella Reuille. She grew up as a farm girl in Foxboro, Wisconsin. She graduated from Superior Central High School in 1964. The Betty Crocker Award was presented to her during her senior year of high school. From there she continued on as a wonderful homemaker. She married Donald L. Tyson on July 10th, 1965 and they celebrated their 47th anniversary this past summer.
Nancy thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, cooking, gardening, knitting, sewing as well as many other hobbies and crafts too numerous to mention. She made many memories with friends in the Chetek area –especially The Card Club and The Birthday Girls. She led a faith-filled life and took great pleasure in the simple joys of everyday living. She was a loving and devoted daughter, wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. Nancy was a member of St. Boniface Church in Chetek.
Nancy retired from Celestica of Chippewa Falls, WI in 2001. She had previously been employed at Cray Research and Silicon Graphics.
Nancy is survived by her husband Donald Tyson, two daughters Dawn (Richard) Graf of Ham Lake, MN and Monica (Jeff) Markham of Chassell, MI ; three grandsons Trenton and Peyton Graf and Tyson Markham; two granddaughters, Hailey Graf and Addisynn Markham; one great-grandson Evan Graf; three brothers John (June) Reuille, Narcis (Ruth) Reuille, and Tom (Bobbie) Reuille; five sisters Jean Wilson, Mary (Bob) Brand, JoAnn Reuille, Monica (Pete) Blomquist, and Catherine (Mike) Foerst; three brother-in-laws; Douglas (Song Ja) Tyson, Dennis (Debra) Tyson, and Duane (Lori) Tyson, and numerous nephews, nieces, and friends.
Nancy is preceded in death by her father, Narcis Reuille and mother, Marcella Reuille; one sister Darlene Jones; father-in-law, John Tyson and mother-in-law, Mary Tyson.
Visitation will be held at Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home, 206 Schofield Street, Chetek, WI on Friday, January 25th, 2013 from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. There will be a rosary and vigil beginning at 6:45 P.M.
On Saturday, January 26th, 2013 at 11:00 A.M, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. William Catholic Church south of Superior. Visitation will be held one hour before the mass and a luncheon will be served following the mass. The church is located one mile west of HWY 35 on County HWY B near Pattison Park.
