Patricia Ann (Mieloszyk) Tabernacki

Patricia Ann Tabernacki, 81 of Chetek peacefully passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017 with her family by her side.  She was born August 5, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Nick and Helen (Mizutowich) Mieloszyk.

Patricia grew up in Chicago, Illinois where she married John Tabernacki on August 13, 1955 and together raised three children.  After moving to Chetek in 1976, they owned and operated Jason’s Family Restaurant for 5 years.  Patricia then worked and retired from Heritage Credit Union in Chetek.  She loved her family very much and enjoyed spending time with them.  Everyone knew her as “Granny”.

Patricia is survived by a son, John Tabernacki of Dyer, IN; two daughters, Janice (Ross) Bodenschatz of Rice Lake, WI and Judy (Andy) Adams of Chetek, WI, nine grandchildren; Jason Tabernacki, John Thomas Tabernacki, June (Robert) Holden, Justin Tabernacki, Elizabeth (Bobby) Basso, Jaci Tabernacki, Renee Bodenschatz, Jordan (Denise) Beseler and Jared (Danielle LeDuc) Beseler; eleven great grandchildren, Blake, Lexi, Seth, Bishop, Amber, Brody, Max, Dani, Nick, Eden and Jaxson.  She was also looking very forward to two new great grandchildren in February and April of 2018.  Patricia is also survived by several nieces, nephews, dear friend Pam Haas and many other wonderful friends.  She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers, Henry (Florence) and Joseph (Martha) Mieloszyk, two sisters, Joan (Anthony) Mokrzycki and Carol (Clifford) Jennings.

Mass of Christian Burial for Patricia will be held 12:00 Noon Friday, December 8, 2017 at St. Boniface Catholic Church with Father Bala Policetty officiating.  Visitation on Thursday from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the funeral home and again one hour prior to the Mass on Friday.  Burial will take place privately.  Join the family for continued fellowship and a luncheon following Mass.
