Phillip E. Burak, 27, of Chetek, WI, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2012.
Phillip was preceded in death by his grandparents; Frank & Agnes Burak, Ray & Dorothy Kramer. He leaves to celebrate his memory, parents Ed & Jan of Chetek; sister Kelly (Steve) Bruhn of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Phillip loved sports including the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers. He was actively involved at St. Boniface Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Phil had a zest for life and a love for people.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 419 3rd St., Chetek, Wisconsin. Phillip will be laid to rest at Island Lake Cemetery in Big Bend Township, Wisconsin.
The family will greet visitors on Tuesday, February 28th from 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at Burhham Ours Funeral Home, 206 Schofield Street, Chetek,WI; and again on Wednesday one hour prior to the service at the church. The family wishes to invite their guests to join them for fellowship and lunch at the church following the service.
