Ralph E. Geborek

Ralph E. Geborek, 81 of Chetek passed away Sunday, July 10, 2016 at Atrium Post Acute Care of Chetek.  He was born in Lehigh, Wisconsin May 3, 1935 the son of Henry and Anna (Zewaski) Geborek.

After graduating high school Ralph married Lorraine Pepke in Chicago, Illinois May 12, 1956.  Together they had twin boys, David and Thomas.  Ralph was a hard working man, a self employed remodeler for kitchen and baths.  He enjoyed fishing and socializing at Mary’s Café & Pub.  Lorraine & Ralph were owners of Ralph’s Lakeshore Resort in the 1970’s which is now Lynda’s Lakeshore Resort.

Ralph is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lorraine, twin sons; Thomas Geborek, David Geborek both of Grayslake, Illinois, grandchildren; Michelle (Shawn) Glass of Round Lake Illinois, Ashley Geborek, Chris Geborek, Matt Geborek all of Grayslake, Illinois and great-grandson Maddux Glass.  Also survived by one sister Barbara Geborek, sister-in-law Donna Young both of Chetek and other relatives and friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister Ann Gillette and a baby brother.

Funeral Service for Ralph will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 14, 2016 at the funeral home with Father Ed Anderson officiating.  Family and friends may gather for a visitation at the funeral home, Wednesday 4:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.  Interment will take place privately.  Please view and sign the online guestbook at www.burnhamours.com.
