Ramona "Pat" Glenice (Knipfer) Wojciechowski

Ramona “Pat” G. Wojciechowski, 75, of Chetek, WI passed away Monday, April 30, 2012 in Eau Claire, WI. She was born in Rusk County, WI on April 1, 1937, the daughter of Oscar and Glenice (Slayton) Knipfer.

Pat was raised in both Rusk and Chippewa County. She married Stanley Wojciechowski on August 15, 1953 in Rusk County. Together they raised their three children, and farmed for 40 years in Rusk County. Stanley passed away in 1994 and Pat remained on the family farm until moving to Chetek in 1996.

Pat loved gardening and working with flowers. She also enjoyed quilting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.

Pat leaves to celebrate her memory; her children, Cynthia Wojciechowski of Cameron, Yvonne Wojciechowski of Chetek, James (Deanna) Wojciechowski of Chetek; grandchildren, Adam, Michael, Amy, and Eric; great grandchildren, Ethan, Kayden, and Kylee; brothers, Wayne (Val) Knipfer of New Auburn, and Boyd Knipfer of Rice Lake; sister, Audrey “Tina” (Bob) Mielke of Bloomer; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family and friends.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Glenice; husband, Stanley; grandson, Steven; sister, Judith, brothers, Robert and Jerry.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at the Burnham Ours Funeral Home in Chetek, WI. Pat’s family will be greeting visitors at the funeral home on Friday, May 4, 2012 from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M., and one hour before the service on Saturday. Pat will be laid to rest beside her husband, Stanley at Twin Lakes Cemetery, Sampson Township, Chippewa County.

Casket Bearers will be Boyd Knipfer, Marvin Rahnjost, Matthew Bowers, Mike Wojciechowski, Adam Wojciechowski, Travis Knipfer.

The Burnham Ours Funeral Home in Chetek has been entrusted with arrangements.
