Reuben Lester Bishop, 74, of Rice Lake, WI passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at the Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Rice Lake. He was born in Rice Lake on August 25, 1938 the son of Martin and Myrtle (Andersen) Bishop.
Reuben enjoyed taking trips to the fair, spending time outdoors, watching TV and looking at magazines. He loved cars, animals, and spending time with family.
Reuben leaves to celebrate his memory, brother, Lee Bishop (Sharon) of Camp Douglas, WI; nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Myrtle Bishop; siblings, Beulah, Floyd, Gordon, Oliver, Violet, Willard, Opal, and one sister in infancy.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 6, 2012 at the Burnham Ours Funeral Home in Chetek, WI, with Pastor Norman Phillips officiating. Reuben’s family will be greeting visitors one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Reuben will be laid to rest at Lake View Cemetery in Chetek.
