Rhonda Renee (Elkins) Wilson

Rhonda Renee Wilson, 69, of Chetek, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023, in Lansing, IA at Thorton Manor Nursing Home.  Rhonda was born on March 19, 1954, in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of Paul and Helena (Mullins) Elkins.

Rhonda loved sewing, quilting, and crocheting in her free time. She was the treasurer of her Red Hat Club. Rhonda was a loving mother, grandma, and great-grandma and will be dearly missed by many.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul Elkins and Helena (Junior) Mullins, husbands, Leroy Purintun and Kim Wilson, and brother, Reggie Elkins.

Rhonda is survived by her children, Melissa (Russell) Crum and Rena (Robert) Swanson, grandchildren, Melanie Tucker, Stefanie Fry-Kunkle, Elisa Cornejo, Lilliana Swanson, Isabella Swanson, Abigail Swanson, and Evie Swanson, great-grandchildren, Baylei Marlow, Joseph Tucker, Charles Tucker, and Lilly Fry-Kunkle, sister, Sheryl (Rueben) Garcia, and nephews, Joshua and Jason Garcia, as well as many other loving family and friends.

The funeral service for Rhonda will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at the Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home in Chetek at 2:00 P.M.  Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service.

Rhonda will be laid to rest at the Lakeview Cemetery in Chetek.
