Richard J. Lampien, 82 of Chetek passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Atrium Post Acute Care Center with his loving wife by his side. He was born December 12, 1933 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin the son of Charles and Hilda (Benshik) Lampien.
Richard married Jeannette A. Livingston March 17, 1956 in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Together they raised four daughters. Richard retired as the manager of Tru-Gas and Skel Gas in Chetek.
Richard is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jeanette A. Lampien; 4 daughters, Vickie Acklin of Rochester, Minnesota, Rebecca (Bob) Bundgaard of Weyerhauser, Susan (Tony) Allen of Barron, Linda (Mike) Gregory of Hayward, Wisconsin, 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, one sister, Jane (Bill) Jennings of Chetek, Wisconsin also survived by other friends and relatives. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles; mother and stepfather, Hilda and Kenneth Holloway, one brother, Charles “Al” Lampien and one granddaughter, Angela Bader.
