Robert Anton Sirinek

Robert A. Sirinek, 84 of Chetek passed away Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Knapp Haven Nursing Home. He was born August 18, 1929 the son of Joseph and Josephine (Mares) Sirinek.
Bob graduated from Chetek High School in 1948 and worked on the farm with his father and later worked at Carlson’s Feed Mill, New Auburn Recycling and retired from the Pallet Factory. He enjoyed home renovation shows, cooking shows and most of all “Scooby Doo” Cartoons. Polka and the Grand ol Opry was some of Bob’s favorite music.
Robert is survived by his brother Larry (Loretta) Sirinek of Watertown, WI, Joyel (Mark) Metcalf and their 3 children of New Auburn, WI, Lisa (Frank) Utke and their 4 children, Clarence Sirinek and Sisters-in-law, Evelyn Sirinek of Birchwood, WI and Lorraine Sirinek of Chetek, WI. Also survived by other loving family and friends. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers; Raymond Sirinek and Ernie Sirinek.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home. Deacon Michael Cullen officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at the funeral home from 3-7 P.M. and one hour prior to the Service on Thursday. Burial at St. Boniface Cemetery to follow.
